Panel II: Human Rights in Palestine & U.S. Advocacy 

An engaging panel that will provide insight on human rights violations against the Palestinian people and the current context.  The discussion will focus on the implications of the Trump administration’s actions and what are the key advocacy tools and opportunities to further build US-Palestine solidarity movements.

Panel III: Civil Rights, the First Amendment, and BDS:  What is Next? 

This is a must go to session! There are increasing efforts to criminalize BDS and boycotts for Palestinian rights. Panelist will give an update on the developing attacks, including legislation and current State laws that punish BDS work and other forms of boycotts for Palestinian rights.

Panel IV: Emerging Arab American Women Leaders & Changing the Narrative 

A critical discussion that will highlight Arab American women who are leading exceptional work in their field and are empowering Arab American voices.  The panel will include a discussion on the challenges that they face engaging in these spaces, with a focus on the impact of gender and tools for women who want to peruse similar work.
